Description

It is with a great sense of delight we bring forth this book titled Women, Law and Human Rights : An Indian Perspective, which is the outcome of Converse'19 : A Two-Day National Seminar on Exploring the Contemporary Women Right Issues in India organised by the Centre for Human Rights, Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad. First and foremost we are grateful to the University authorities for allowing us to conduct the National Conference which created foundation for present book. Most of the chapters are edited papers presented by the authors in the conference and a few papers were invited by the editors from experts in the field to make the books more comprehensive in nature. A token of appreciation to all the authors who have contributed to the book and making this project successful.
