Description
In this book Author traces the Status of the women, including marriage rights under the world constitutions. The Author is of the opinion that one has to realize that relations between man and woman as a husband and wife, as in ancient days, is one of faith, love and affection to each other and for their families, whatever faith-religion they belong. For a family, sons, and daughters, their benevolent behavior is all important. Man, as well as, woman may have life as a single. But both are equally responsible for their family. Hindu ideology is one of Vasudeo Kutumkum. Where in such ideal atmosphere both man and woman prosper, if they are in unison with love and honoring dignity of each other. No amount of passing of laws to give singular freedom, under the pretext of fundamental rights, would solve this problem basically respecting human love, affection and responsibility arising from it. For example live-in relationship is good so far as the partners remain issue less. But once they have issues the question of legitimacy of them arises. What is the future of these children in society? Whether they are children of father or mother. Both the partners cannot evade the responsibility of raising them till they are independently able to stand in this treacherous world on their own. There should be categorical legal premise that these living in partners raise them as their children as is their moral duty and fundamental duty under article 51 A of the Constitution of India.
