Author Details

After having enrolled with Bar Council of Delhi handled briefs involving medical negligence, medicliams, life insurance claims, and allied matters. He is one of the first non-medical writers on the subject in the country. Trying to create an equilibrium while handing cases from the patient's side as well the doctor's, the author's exposure to the magnitude of health care concepts humbled him furter, realizing that issues behaind the allegation of professional misconduct by health care providers coluld not always be termed as trial, and that in the absence of a well defined code, the precedent based administration of justice was the fountation and strength our jurisdiction, for protection of the rights of the patients, on one hand, and privileges of the doctors, on the other.The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 virtually became the applied law on the subject, and the author, its permanent student.
