Description

I was delighted to be asked again to prepare a new edition of William Rose's fine book. I thoroughly endorse all that Stuart Sime says in his excellent Foreword: this book is intended to complement the excellent manuals prepared and provided by his institution and the other excellent law schools. I knew  William a little, both as a judge and as a fellow attendee at numerous Judicial Studies Board (now Judicial College) courses. He was both intelligent and well informed, but above all, he was very engaging company: any reader of this volume will soon readily understand that.
