Description
In a generous mood and a gracious spirit Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh when I met him a couple of months ago called me as I was leaving his official office "Rajarishi", too pompous for a name for humble me. He knows me in and out as a critic and as a statesman. So I accept this noble description of me as coming from a finer spirit overlooking my blemishes and sharp criticisms of his policies and Government. In that sense the book consists of the writings drawn up during dawn before I go for my morning walk. The reader will forgive me my fobbing of on him. Ramping and writing has a serious work which it is not. They are some sombre pieces but also pages of levity. But they are of candid. Written in the vein of crippling advice to his son I am no pretender to great writings or classic judgments although I have over 724 judgments to my credit from the Supreme Court of India and some of them have turned out to be classics. But what is in this book is purile not solemn wordings nevertheless some of them
