Corruption has been considered one of the greatest challenges impeding the growth of contemporary India. Though India's economy stands tall and firm, it has not realized its true potential as corruption has, in the present scenario, inhibits and undermines not only the economic growth, but also the effective functioning of democracy, corruption a social menace, has made country susceptible to and defenseless against the oncoming forces of anti-social elemental.
