Description
Globalization led to the advent of various communications systems of which internet plays an important role. The internet with appreciable technological developments gave us a chance to act as global community, advertise and operate across all the frontiers over borders. New communication technology systems and digital technology have made dramatic changes in the way we live and the means to transact our daily business. Instead of traditional paper documents we are using computers to create, transmit and store, retrieve and speedier to communicate. In spite of several advantages due to lack of appropriate legal framework people were reluctant to carry on their business by just relying only the electronic transaction. The major hurdles in the growth of e-commerce and e-governance were legal recognition for the transactions, security and privacy issues in the cyber space.
