Description
The immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 aims at social reform of very great importance. The Act has a limited scope and area. What is punishable under the Act is sexual exploitation for commercial purposes. The present book on the subject attempts to explain the various provisions of the Act lucidly. Each section of the Act has been explained by befitting head-notes, provisions deleted/inserted/substituted have been remarked under the foot-notes suitably. To make the book self-contained the bare text of the rule framed by the various States find places in the Appendices.
