Author Details
Dr. Sridhar Mothe : After schooling in native place Manthani, a town of rich culture in Telangana, he graduated in Civil Engineering from Osmania University and post graduation from 1.1.T. Madras in 1985. Afterwards got selected to Central Engineering Services (IES) in 1987 and joined Civil Wing of AIR&TV. He obtained a degree in Law and PG diploma in ADR from NALSAR. He obtained Ph.D in Contract Management.
He has 35 years of experience in administration of varied types of Contracts including CPWD and FIDIC Contracts. He has good experience in handling claims, litigations and disputes in various Arbitrations, DRBs and Conciliations. He was with NCC Ltd. and previously was heading Contracts dept. of SEW Infrastructure Ltd. Presently he is the Principal Consultant of MOTHE ASSOCIATES' a contract management consulting firm, founded by him.
He has presented 50 papers in national, international seminars and reputed journals. He is a visiting faculty for Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI), Manipal Law School, NICMAR, Administrative Staff College of India, National Academy of Construction (NAC). He was a member in Board of Studies (BoS) Dept. of Civil Engg. Osmania University and member in Academic Advisory Board (AAB), RICS Amity University.
He was awarded Engineer of the Year 2022 by Telangana Govt. & Institution of Engineers. He received Vishwa Karma Award for 2023 by CIDC. Empanelled as Arbitrator in ICA, CIAC, IITArb. He opened a YouTube Channel on contract management lessons
