Description
The first edition of the book handwriting forensics was published in 2012. The entire edition was sold out in about a year's time and I am thankful to the readers for giving the book such a tremendous response and inter alia compelled me to work towards the second edition of the book. The book has been thoroughly revised. The corrections, modifications, additions etc., which have been suggested by the serious readers from all over the country, have been incorporated. In light of the developments in the field, four new chapters have been added to the new edition:
1. Handwriting Forensics Tools
2. Handwriting Forensics Photography-Imaging
3. Evaluation of Handwriting on Photocopies
4. Computer Printer Identification
Recent case-law on handwriting forensics, as enunciated by the Supreme Court, has also been incorporated. I have made a sincere endeavor to provide a comprehensive guide on handwriting forensics to all concerned. The new additions to the new edition will, hopefully, go a long way towards achieving this goal. The added information should prove useful to all, especially professionals who are not handwriting experts but have to deal with the subject on a regular basis, namely lawyers, judges, police officers and public. Despite the fact that every effort has been made to make the book error-free and complete in every respect, some errors might have crept in and are regretted and suggestions and observations for improvement are always welcome. I hope this book proves to be a unique and an indispensable asset to all professionals who are concerned with Handwriting Forensics.
