Description
The present edition has been updated by integrating a large number of decisions delivered by the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts in this country on the Civil Procedure Code since the publication of the previous edition in the year 2007. Along with the addition of the latest case law and State Amendments made by various High Courts, the full text has also been subjected to a comprehensive reading and revision. Many more headings and sub headings have been supplemented so as to facilitate the reader's admittance to the subject, shaping the understanding of the concept more conveniently and quickly and to make this new edition more useful. In the comments, the object, principle and meaning of the provisions of the Code have been carefully explained and analysed in the light of recent judgments of the Courts of law. This revising author would most thankfully welcome suggestions for the improvement of the upcoming editions, from the respected members of the Bench and Bar and academics. We are confident that thorough study of the book will enable the reader to acquire a sound knowledge of the law of Civil Procedure. A complete mastery of the Code of Civil Procedure is a sine qua non to one who seriously aspires to rise in the profession.
