'World Constitutions: Constitutional Texts and Comparative Study' is a unique endeavour to place before the reader a total of 196 Constitutions of countries spanning the globe, in order for the reader to have an easy reference guide to world constitutions. This book will serve as a tremendously useful tool for legal professionals, constitutional researchers and students of Constitutional Law; especially those who wish to research the subject of Comparative Constitutionalism. It may also serve judges, lawyers and academicians in research and reference work. Each Constitution is presented in 'Bare Act' form, with amendments listed up to the year of amendment and revision. There is also a brief description of the certain Constitution's vital aspects. Some of the merits, defects and lacunae of each Constitution are also set forth while introducing them to the reader. This will help the researcher to obtain an indication of which aspects of the constitutions to concentrate emphasis, proving a help in thesis research work of students. It is suggested that the student of Constitutionalism not only read the author's interpretation of the constitutional provisions of each Constitution but also read each Constitution entirely to make their personal inferences regarding the constitutional position of each nation. Some nation's constitutions are very small spanning a few pages while some run into hundreds. Each National Constitution defines the Country and its people. Therefore it is the most important single Act of Legislation, that a nation will ever undertake to give itself. This book also includes a study of the basic tenets of Constitutionalism. The book further sets forth important events in Constitutional history and subsequent  Constitutional development in various nations of the world. The concluding chapter deals with comparative constitutionalism from a researcher's perspective.
