Description
"Corruption", in generic sense, in India seems to have reached its acme. The qualities of a Government servant, like honesty, integrity and probity in public service are at a great discount, if they have not touched nadir. Cynic view suggests that it seems impossible to deal with this hyera-headed monster with its tentacles reaching nook and conrner of the society. There is reporting of scandals and scams, small and big in the ara of governance under the Government of India and its field formations, every other day. In the recent past a umber of social activists have raised their deep concern with the Government of Idia vociferously. Impression afloat in the air is that nothing has been done by the CVC and the CBI to fight corruption in the country. There is a general impression that corruption perades all spheres of public administration. Simultneously concern has also been expressed as to how to deal with the menace of corruption.
