Description
Street on Torts has been a part of my life for a decade now; this is my fourth edition. After moving to the National University of Singapore in January 2020, I had to think carefully about whether to continue in my role as editor/author. There are several reasons why I felt compelled to do so. First, this textbook has been a classic for decades ow. Second, I have continued to feel that there are things that I should improve in order to ensure the book is everything that I could want it to be. Third, the law of torts is so fundamental to the common law that students need a balanced, middle-of-the-road, and informed account of the law. This is what I hope that this book offers to a new generation of students.
