Author Details
Shri Vishwas Shridhar Sohoni, Advocate hails from the family of lawyers. His father was an eminent Advocate and an erstwhile President of Bhartiya Jan Sangh and was also a Member of Legislative Council of Maharashtra Assembly. His son Sameer Sohoni, Advocate is also working with him at the High Court of Judicature at Bombay. Nagpur Bench, Nagpur. Shri Vishwas Sohoni was for sometime Government Pleader appointed by the State of Maharashtra on their pannel.
Shri Vishwas Sohoni started his practice in the year 1959 but later he shifted to Nagpur from Akola and, started practice at Bombay High Court from the year 1970. He has appeared in Supreme Court of  India as arguing Counsel a number of times. His many cases have been reported in Maharashtra Law Journal and other Law Journals. He has argued 3 Full Bench matters before the Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench. He had also been a Lecturer in Law College, Akola and has addressed many seminars and other meetings on the law subjects.
His is working for some financial institutions and Krishi Vidyapeeth as well as Maharashtra State Financial Corporation. He is also  a member of Rotary Club and has been working for other social organisations, including Chinmaya Sewa Trust, at Nagpur.
He has visited European countries with an opportunity to see the working in Privy Council at London also.
Recently his books "Law of Injunctions and Transfer of Property Act." have been published and are being appreciated widely by Bench and the Bar alike.
