Description
This book is a commentary on the legal words and expressions. It is not a dictionary. Therefore, the words and expressions are explained in the context of the present use. No attempt is made to trace the etimological meaning or past uses if any which are different or used in different contexts. Popular and common use of the words and expressions in the context otherwise not legal, are not referred. All the comments and explanations provided herein may be treated as supported by authorities. Hence, all the authorities are not given in the references. Only such of those cases which competently dealt with subject covering the words and expressions are quoted. Some of the references quoted may themselves contain several precedents supporting the decisions made therein. Therefore, the references quoted under each item themselves may prove to be illuminating. I may here venture to state that the readers may kindly refer to my earlier two books, "Landmark Judgments of Supreme Court" and "Landmark Judgements of the Andhra Pradesh High Court" in which are reviewed, the judgements of the Superior Courts spreadover 50 years since their inception. I have taken care to see that all the subjects and references contained therein are covered in this publication.
