Description
'Right to Information is not a fundamental right provided by the Constitution of India. It is right of people in a democratic country. In India, this right has been acquired by the people by fighting against the state power. It brought a social revolution in India. It become a weapon to fight against corruption. Now both intellectual and common man speaks about the right to information. It is a tool to get redressal of not only individual problem but also public problem. There are few books on this subject for deep study. But, we find rarely a book which is with in reach of a common reader. Hence the author attempted to present this text book. This text contains 10 Chapters and a number of case references relating to various sections of the Act. The subject matter has been presented comprehensively in simple language in concise from and in lucid style. No text book writer can claim originality of thought as the topics have to be explained based on the references.
