Description
RERA, a new Act, as implemented for the benefit of home buyers and promoters, developers, builders, is a real revolution in the construction sector. As the Act is new, I observed the confusions in the minds of home buyers as well as in the minds of builders. I tried to remove such confusions by presenting this book for the benefit of the readers. All the provisions of this Act are explained in this book in simple language and in question-answer format, wherever possible. I tried to address most of the issues arising under this Act by referring all important cases in particular sections. I would feel rewarded if the book proves helpful to home buyers, professionals, and promoters and developers to understand the concepts in this Act in the right manner. Part 1 deals with the analysis of the statutory provisions while Part 2 contains the RERA Rules of selected States. Most of the State Rules are similar. In an attempt to explain the statutory provisions, I have made the Maharashtra RERA Rules as the basis. My thanks to my wife CA.
