This
annual Publication is 37th in the Series of the "Railway Board's
Orders". The earlier compilations of Railway Board's. Orders on
Establishment relating to the years 1985 to 2021brought out by us were
very well received and welcomed by our esteemed patrons, the
Officers/employees of the Railways and the Trade Unions. A good number
of Advocates, dealing in staff matter, cite this compendium in the
Central Administrative Tribunals. High Courts and the Supreme Court as
authentic reference. This has encouraged us in bringing out this
compilation for the year, 2022.
Over the last one year, thrust of the
Ministry has been on empowering the front line officials in order to
give them greater autonomy to enable faster decision making and improved
deliverance. Overall the Indian Railways is striving to evolve a
culture focused on deliverance that would enable the organization to
operate professionally and achieve its full potential. Professional
honesty, trust, integrity and transparency need to become an integral
part of the culture. Transformation Cell of Railway Board is
