Description
This book was born out of a desire to engage readers, both generalists and professionals, in the realm of quality and standards. This book is neither a technical treatise on quality and standards nor the pinnacle of research on the subject of quality-this is a business book!
When we tried to explain the BIS licensing process to manufacturers in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United States, Italy, and other countries, the book spoke to us. We became more aware of the need for a modular, business- focused, simple-to-read, quick-reference, bite-size compilation of useful information as we attempted to organise our communication on BIS licensing. So, we contributed and helped put the compilation together.
The book connects the dots of practical advice to create an easy-to-follow picture while encouraging action and flow in the midst of analysis. It can provide as a roadmap for companies looking to engage with India's high- quality licensing framework. It can help technology students comprehend the foundations of business standards and quality. It can serve as a lens for businesses to transform, synchronize, and administer the governance responsibilities associated with quality and standards.
