When we tried to explain the BIS licensing process to manufacturers in Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United States, Italy, and other countries, the book spoke to us. We became more aware of the need for a modular, business- focused, simple-to-read, quick-reference, bite-size compilation of useful information as we attempted to organise our communication on BIS licensing. So, we contributed and helped put the compilation together.

Himanshu Tewari is a respected professional with thirty years of assorted work experience. He is a Partner with KPMG in India and leads its Trade & Customs Services practice. He focuses on international trade transactions in the global value chain and its interplay with business metrices market access, market share, revenue, cost optimization and margin governance. Himanshu is a graduate from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.Himanshu is deeply engaged in discussion around India Trade Policy 2.0 - post 2023, and its impact on global businesses.
