Description
International law is an evolving subject. It has gained lot of importance in the contemporary times. The political, social, economic, cultural, scientific and technological developments have forced Stated to join together to discuss and negotiate a legal regime to meet new challenges in those areas. The role played by International Law Commission (ILC) on the codification and progressive development of international law is commendable. The ILC is trying to fill the voids in international law by those areas. The jurisprudence of international law is fast emerging with new developments such as judgements and awards of the international court of justice and international tribunals and new treaties and conventions which are being adopted from time to time on various aspects of international law.

V K Ahuja has been teaching at the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi for last two decades. A Ph.D. and LL.M from the University of Delhi and M.Phil, from Jawaharlal Nehru University in International Law, he has also done a Certificate Course on Law Teaching and Legal Research Skills atthe Cardiff Law School, Cardiff University, UK.
