Author Details
Dr Poonam Pradhan Saxena is a former Vice Chancellor of National Law

University, Jodhpur and a former professor at Faculty of Law, University of

Delhi. She has around more than 41 years of experience in teaching and

administration. She is a Fulbright Scholar and a visiting faculty at University of

Baltimore, Maryland USA. She is a Shastri-Indo Canadian fellow, pursuant to

which she has delivered lecture on 'Women and Law' in eleven different,

universities across Canada. She is the revising author of Mulla's Transfer of

Property Act, (2013) and (2018) and has authored Family Law Lectures, Family

Law-1 (2021), Family Law Lectures: Family Law-II (2022), and Property law

(2017). She has also contributed to four volumes on Halsbury Laws of India, viz,

Property and Easements (Vol 12), Trusts and Charities, (Vol 29(2)), Family Law -1

(Vol 26) and Family Law-II (Vol 28). A prolific writer, her articles have been

published in several Indian and foreign law journals and books.
