Author Details
Dr. Rakesh Kumar Singh is currently working as Associate Professor and Associate Dean, School of Humanities, Management and Law, The Neotia University, West Bengal. He was formerly Associate Dean and Head of Department, School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, West Bengal; Founder Head of Institution, Amity Law School, Kolkata, Amity University, West Bengal and formerly Principal, Haldia Law College, West Bengal. He was awarded Ph.D in Corporate Law by the University of Calcutta. He has pursued his LL.B and LL.M (with specialization in Business Laws) from University of Calcutta after graduating in B.Com (Hons.). He has published a book on "Amalgamation and Merger of Companies and the WTO" from Eastern Law House (2013) and on "Law relating to Immoral Trafficking", Vinod Publications, New Delhi.
Souvik Dhar is currently working as Assistant Professor, School of Legal Studies, The Neotia University, West Bengal. He has qualified both UGC-NET and WB-SET examinations. He is also pursuing Ph.D. in Law. Amidst varied academic experience, he has worked as Guest Lecturer at Department of Law, University of Calcutta and at Sarsuna Law College, Bankura University. He has worked as Research Investigator, Centre for Child Rights, WB NUJS in a UNICEF project on 'Evaluation of POCSO Act, 2012 in West Bengal'. He has done his B.A. LL. B from Department of Law, University of Calcutta and LL.M (Business Laws) from Amity Law School, Kolkata. He is having 8-years of Litigation experience and 5-years of Research and Academic experience. He has participated, delivered lectures and presented papers in several national and international conferences, seminars, symposium and workshops. He has also organized several seminars, and conferences as a faculty convenor. He has published several articles in reputed journals (including UGC-Care listed journals) and edited books on diverse legal issues. His area of interest includes Health Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law and Human Rights Law.
