Description
The title of the subject /paper is divided into three Parts, i.e. (i) Professional Ethics; (ii) Accountancy for Lawyering; and (iii) Bar-Bench Relations. In the syllabus, it is divided into six parts as stated above. In the previous question papers, already conducted by different Universities, it is found that examination paper setter did not strictly follow the division of subject. Being the subject is newly introduced, they have been giving question papers liberally to certain extent. In future, they may go into the depth. They may instruct to write answers by choosing a compulsory question from each part in future. At present the student is at liberty to write any four questions in Osmania University. In Semester and Unit-wise system has been newly introduced in Osmania University and other Universities with effect from December, 2001. This may be followed by all the Universities in the near future, dividing the subject in unit-wise. In the syllabus 50 Selected opinions of the Disciplinary Committees of Bar Councils and 10 major judgments of the Supreme Court on the subject shall have to be studied by the student. I have also given sufficient case-laws (precedents), which include the decisions of the State Bar Councils and the Bar Council of India, and the final judgments of the Supreme Court. Total number of case-laws given in this book are 112. I also give a few previous question papers of this subject at the last pages of this book as far as available to me upto the time of writing this book. These question papers were sent by the students of the respective Universities, as soon as the examinations were completed. These previous question papers guided me in writing the materials on this subject. I have tried to explain in easy  and legible language. I request the students to send the previous question papers on all the subjects of all universities.
