Author Details
Rupanjana De is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Triple Masters Degree holder, being Master in Law from Hamburg University, Germany, Master in Applied Economics from Université Paul Cézanne, Aix-Marseille III, France and European Master in Law & Economics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She had an illustrious academic career backed by two gold medals. Ms. De is an avid writer and has always endeavoured to master the art of writing and presenting subjects in a lucid manner aimed at helping readers to easily grasp complicated topics. She has authored and co-authored many highly acclaimed books on Company Law, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Sustainability. By profession Ms. De is a Practising Company Secretary and holds the position of Independent Director in many companies, both listed and unlisted, in the public as well as private sector. She is also a Member of Board of Studies at the School of Management Studies (SOMS) at Indian Institute  of Engineering, Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, West Bengal and a Managing Committee members in various educational institutions.
