Description
The Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 is amongst the most important labour law legislations in India which was enacted to ensure a safety net for employees after their working life. In India the importance of welfare legislations, especially in the field of labour laws cannot be over emphasized and the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 is one of the most regularly invoked legislations in the field of labour laws.
