White Collar Crimes or Socio-economic offences affecting the public at large like smuggling, illicit trafficking and sale of narcotic etc., are of recent origin. Such offences are outcome of illegal acts as committed by unlawful means, in pursuance of personal gain and profit. Drug abuse has now become a universal and growing issue of concern to humanity. The illicit drugs have multiple consequences to health, society and economy. "Narcotic" refers to different types of substances which makes the senses less effective and soothes pain. It refers to heroin, heroin derivatives and their semi- synthetic equivalents. These medications are also refer to as opioid, which is more effective, i.e., vicodin, codeine, morphine, etc. The psychotropic substances are antidotes that influence the functioning of the brain and induce alterations in mood, thoughts, emotions and actions. Alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, marijuana and some medicines for pain are some examples of psychotropic substances. Many illicit narcotic like heroin, LSD, cocaine, and amphetamines are also psychotropic agents that are  offence referred to as psychotropic substances. The NDPS Act of 1985 aimed at to:-
