Description
Since the publication of the previous edition of Nabhi's Compilation of CPWD Code, a large number of changes have taken place significantly affecting the provisions of the Code. The financial powers of Government officers emanating under the General Financial Rules have undergone considerable change under the new General Financial Rules, 2005, Powers under Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 1978 have also been amended. Further and more significantly, the CPWD has issued revised edition of CPWD Works Manual, 2007 where under the practical procedure and powers relating to works, buildings, contracts, tenders, etc. have been drastically changed. The Manual has also been further amended by a large number of DGW/MAN series circulars. Incorporating the changes as aforesaid and a lot of other new relevant information, we are now pleased to present the fifth revised edition of Nabhi's COMPILATION OF CENTRAL PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENTAL CODE, 2010.
