Consumers' protection
As a passenger is now treated as consumer, the Motor Vehicles Act and the Consumer Protection Act become correlated. The rights of the passenger and the liability of the owner of the motor vehicle under the Consumer Protection Act are explained making the book of practical utility for the Bench and the Bar and for the Executive in working the statute.
