Description
The inter-relationship and the Complementary nature of Law of Contract and Law relating to Specific Relief can be understood and gauged from the fact that none can be read in isolation from the other.Through,the law relating specific relief traces its origin in the principles relating to the Law of Equity,the said law and its principles have been incorporated with suitable changes in the Indian context,by the Indian parliament under the Specific Relief Act,1963. In order to give a comprehensive understanding of the subject at hand,the first edition of the book was brought in before its readers and the respose received from them was enormous. However,on account of the changes,both legislative as well as judicial i.e. through case-law,brought into this branch of law,the book has undergone revisions, time and again,by incorporating all the statutory amendments as well as land-mark decisions rendered by Constitutional Courts of the country with an object to cater to the needs and requirements of its readers.
