Description
In this new edition a few new topics have been added to cover the subjects of contemporary origin and importance. Each topic is built around the core sense as also the sense in which these are applied in issues resting on matrimony. All the critical notes are firmly based on judicious reasonings. Coverage of judicial pronouncements, wherever applicable, have also been effected. The Divorce Act, 1869 applicable to the Christian marriage has been considerably updated. But there is still scope to reduces its volume and to streamline the contents within some lesser number of provisions. What is more, the Christian Marriage Act, 1872 and the Divorce Act, 1869 may be clubbed together so as to to form one statute on the Christian marriage and divorce with consequential and incidental provisions thereon.
