Description
It is a matter of great pleasure for me to bring out the First edition of the book. It is based on the latest syllabus prescribed by KSLU for B. Com LLB 2nd Semester for the year 2019-20 and onwards. My primary goal in bringing out this book has been to provide a way to understand basics of macroeconomics theories and variables in a simple, lucid and easy to understand manner. I believe that the basic economics ideas are so important that students should remember them beyond the final examination.
This book has been written to the better understanding for the student and includes sufficient real-life examples and theories for several areas of economic activity. Appropriate diagrams and recent statistical data have been used for the better understanding of these theories. I hope that a thorough reading of this book would create an interest among the students about the field of economics and enable them to answer all type of questions in their KSLU examination.
Salient features of the book:
Each topic has been written in accordance with the latest guidelines issued by KSLU University.
The concept has been systematically explained through use of diagrams, table and current examples.
Keynesian economics has been discussed according to syllabus.
Concerning National Income Accounting, the important new concept of calculation of National Income discussed.
Explanation of circular flow of Income, multiplier theory has been explained in brief.
Say's Law of Market and Wage Price Flexibility are the interesting parts of this book.
I have also included previous year question paper keeping in mind the accessibility to the questions.
