Woman's position in every kind of civilization is distinctive because of a variety of responsibilities discharged by her at different phases of life in the form of a daughter, a spouse, a sister and in the form of a mother. However, despite her so much of contribution to the family and, consequently, to the society, she belongs to under privileged category and is dominated by the man in every sphere. She has to face many obstacles and hurdles in her life. She is an object of exploitation at every stage. Her status is no different in other parts of the world as well. Nevertheless, she is kept in high esteem, adored and even worshipped. She is also believed to be epithet of for bearance and virtue. However, no economic factors have been found to be having any impact over woman's status in the society. She has been the "Victim" regardless of her financial status.
