Justice M. Rama Jois, B.Sc., B.L., Judge, High Court of Karnataka
Justice M. Rama Jois is currently a Rajya Sabha member and a Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. Justice Rama is the author of Historical Battle, Services Under the State, Ancient Indian Law: Eternal Values in Manu Smrithi, Dharma: The Global Ethic, Code of Conduct for Rulers, and Need for Amending the Constitution. Justice Rama obtained his B.Sc. and B.L. degrees from Central College and Government Law College, Bangalore. Kuvempu University conferred on him the Honorary Doctor of Laws. He was the former Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, and former Governor of Bihar and Jharkhand. Pranayama, yoga, and writing are among his favorite pastimes.
