Author Details
Prof. Dr. Rega Surya Rao, S/o. Late Appa Rao is the youngest brother of Prof. Rega Jaganmohan Rao, Retd. Principal, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University College of Law, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He hails from Salur, Vizianagaram District of Andhra Pradesh. After successful completion of his B.L. from Andhra University, he dis M.L. in Constitutional Law and International Law in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and secured First Rank (August 1983). He did his Ph.D in Law on the topic entitled "Legal Regulation of Industrial Disputes in Indian Shipbuilding Industry with special reference to Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam" under the joint guidance of Prof. Dr. N. S. Jagannadha Rao, LL.M., Ph.D., D.Litt (Law), Retd. Professor, Head P.G. Dept. of Law, Barhampur University, and Prof. Dr. B.S. Murty, Retd. Professor, head and Chairman Board of Studies, Dept. of Human Resource Management, Andhra University and was awarded the Ph.D in February 1999, by the Berhampur University, Odisha. During his college days, he participated in a number of English Debate Competitions (Intero Collegiate and Inter-University) and won prizes and acclamation. He worked as Lectures in Law, in Sir, C.R. Reddy Law College, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh for nearly 18 years and has been working as principal, Priyadarshini Dnyan Prabhodhini Sanstha's Law College (Aided), Phaltan, Maharashtra, since 01-01-2004 to till date.
