Description
The present form of the book on "Law of Mines and Minerals" is the twenty second edition. The earlier edition is of the year 2020 since then considerable changes and improvements have taken place in Law and Case-law, it is felt essential to update the existing of the book with the latest literature available on this subject in the present content. A perusal of the literature on the present subject indicates that the areas which are problematic include, apart from illegal and unauthorised mining activities, most of the litigations relate to granting of Licencing policies and renewal of the licences affected with expiring periods. In this process of revision, the text of the earlier versions of the book is left untouched and thereby retaining the same as it was. Hopefully, this edition also receives the valuable appreciations of the learned readers. Although every effort has been made to ensure that no incidental drawbacks or short-comings should occur in the book, it cannot be confidently said affirmatively that the present Edition of the book is free from any errors and omissions. If any learned reader comes across such incident(s), it will be highly appreciated if the same is/are brought to the notice  of the author and also the publishers so that the book is made free of such errors, at the time of compiling of the next Edition. In fact, it is always ideal for the learned readers and users of this book to make a cross reference to the original texts of the law and case-law  decisions.
