Author Details
S.S. Wagh, got an opportunity to work on both sides of table of Court i.e. as a judge so also as an advocate. He is in the law field since last 50 years. He gets immense pleasure in simplifying the provision of law and explaining them to all concerned, in common parlance. A sentence of maker of Law of Evidence Mr. Stephen (afterwards Sir James) "that the provisions of law can be best understood by first inquiring into the reasons of the rules quoted in provisions" had a great impact on the mind of author while reading provisions of every law. Author published his first edition of this book "Basic Law of Evidence." This book was also included in syllabus of Shivaji University. Then second book styled as "rika" written for common men in Marathi language about practice and procedure followed in Courts of Law, also received tremendous response and sis editions thereof were published. It was also recommended by Government of Maharashtra for all concerned.
