Description
The Bank of England was first established in 1694 and was the home to the Monetary Policy Committee, which is in charge of the monetary policy for the entire country of England. Bank of New Yark was the First Bank established in the USA, a bank chartered by the United State Congress on February 25, 1791. It means the banking industry has started in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and has gradually spread entire world. The modern banking business, i.e. internet banking, e-banking, ATM, Debit Card, Credit Card, etc., has developed since 1990s along with computer technology development. Now the banking has become essential in the urban and rural areas of every country. The banking laws as well as the laws pertaining to the negotiable instruments are also changing from time to time according to the needs of the people and development of technology.
