Description
In the 4th Edition of this book, we added some Chapters to the existing commentary. Likewise, three more chapters have been added in this 5th Edition, which are "Affidavit and some important documents/concepts", "Affidavit  and Code of Criminal Procedure" and "Affidavit and Contempt of Courts Act, 1971." We believe that the information given in these new chapters, besides the existing chapters, would unfold different situations where affidavits are used. The case-laws have been updated in the existing Chapters. We have also made endeavour to add certain aspects of foreign laws pertaining to affidavit in this book. A plethora of reliable formats of the affidavits touching various important matters, including litigation before the courts, including appellate courts, are also part of this book for the benefit of the readers. We believe that the book will be found useful by the lawyers, administrators, law students, litigants and other readers.
