Description
The Labour and Industrial Law is a lengthiest subject, having several Labour Laws and Rules enacted by the Indian Parliament. These include Pre-Independence and Pre-Constitutional Laws enacted by the British Crown. Upto the 2010-2011 Academic Year, this vast subject has been taught as a single subject, i.e. examining the students in one paper, having three hours duration. The Bar Council of India thought that this subject be divided into two papers, the Labour and Industrial  Law-I and the Labour and Industrial Law-II, and accordingly instructed all the Universities to divide this subject into two Parts, i.e. two Question Papers - the Labour Law - I & the Labour Law - II. Since the Academic year 2010-2011, the Osmania University  has adopted the directives of the Bar Council of India, and has released the prescribed syllabus for the Labour Law - I & the Labour Law- II. The Labour Law - I has been incorporated for Third Semester (3-YDC). The Labour Law - II has been incorporated for Fourth Semester (3-YDC).
