Now the current edition of this book, thoroughly revised and enlarged. A judicial process is basically whole complex phenomenon of court working and what wrong has come in it is the issue in this edition, cost, corruption and delay are the three maladies that are crying for remedy. All the three are cancer to the justice delivery system of this sentinel of democracy. How to get it cured and to ensure it does not return is of concern to all of us. A reader who has to read the book has every reason to know, of course, in few words, prior to he pays for the book. The reasons why should he pay for it? Work of payment and information, he would get that he cannot get otherwise elsewhere? True Author has to tell him the truth. In fact, this book came in existence initially as text book for students of judicial process that was introduced s subject in course structure of law schools. As a teacher associated with this subject, a challenge confronted me to make a text book available to may students since more than 5 decades (since September 23, 1967).
