Author Details
Jyoti Singh is a practicing advocate and a member of the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa with over a decade's experience in virtually every area of commercial litigation and arbitration. Her areas of expertise include insolvency and bankruptcy, corporate commercial disputes including shareholders disputes, recovery of debts and enforcement of security, corporate fraud and white-collar crimes. She frequently represents some of the largest banks and financial institutions in India and acts for creditors and borrowers alike in complex legal proceedings for insolvency, restructuring and recovery of debts and enforcement of security. Chambers and Partners recommend Jyoti as a leading lawyer in "Dispute Resolution - Insolvency, and in "Dispute Resolution- Mumbai-based"  and rates her as "very focused, and someone who understands the financial sector", and that her "clients enthuse about her thorough case preparation and high levels of client service".
