Description
It gives me an immense pleasure to be the part of this distinguished Publishing House! I am very thankful to the publishers to  afford me an opportunity to lay my hands on this work! I have come across many books on law by Stalwarts and Luminaries, the pleasure of reading their books is extraordinary, but I always feel that a book in any from has to be very simple and it shall give the maximum knowledge to its readers, A book shall always be simple and the contents shall have brevity. I have chosen only those cases in which a new principle of law has been laid down or which has some interesting features of procedure and practice. It was a very difficult task to select and make this handpicked compendium of cases on Inherent Powers under CPC, 1908 as I have omitted the remainder. It is quite possible that readers may feel that a particular case might have wrongly left out. I can only apologize for such a lapse but this is  inevitable in any selection. The best part of the book is that the cases have been researched and digested by in a very unique manner which makes it very easy for the readers to view the legal proposition and pick up the case. Its safe to say the index of the book is filtered with the best content. The reason why I have chosen this Contemporary topic is that, in everyday practise we come across the difficulty in applying some provisions of law, we are often told by our seniors that simply quote S.151 of CPC and see that the Petition is not returned, it is a matter of general practise that we blanketly apply the said provision of law. But how many of us has actually researched the interpretation of this provision, that as to how the said provision can be used to fill up the lacunae of law. I have tried to bring this compilation of this particular section right from the date of commencement of the Code till date.
