Sri G.S. Gupta
born at Kanigiri in Prakasam District, entered in the legal profession as an Advocate in the year 1944.
Sir Gupta belonged to the tradition of people who believe that work is Worship. With all the zeal at his command he served and protected the intrests of his clients for about 40 years.
He has written 12 books with maticulous care coupled with his experience as a busy practioner commenting on various subjects Civil, Criminal and Revenue Laws; thus acquiring slowly in the process a prestige that comes very hard in the field of legal publishing world, But it was with the publication of his book on Promissory Note Sir Gupta won all India recognition in the legal circle.
