did post-graduation in Chemistry * Karnataka  University  and  started  his  caree* Forensic  Science   in  the  Maharashtra   Forer Science Laboratory, in 1965. After gaming iabcrat-experience  in  examining  scientific  evidence diverse nature, and appearing m Courts -:is expert witness, he joined the Sardar Vailabhi: Patel.  National   Police  Academy   as  Ass«s'.: Director, in 1970. While at the Academy he rece specialised training in various State and Cen: Forensic Science Laboratories. Fingerprint Bun?;; India Security Printing , ;ess. including Ira ^ programme under Colombo Plan, at the Unive's of Manchester, U. K.. in 1987. He has participated m a number of Nationa; international  Forensx Science Conferences and Seminars, besides contnbu:-scientific articles in p ofessional journals.
