Description
It is my Pleasure to  present the second edition of Forensic Medicine, Toxicology and Medical Jurisprudence. This book is student-friendly and updated according to the latest academic curriculum and examination pattern. Efforts are made by the author, co-author and all other contributors to keep the book in simple language instead of the difficult and daunting task of the subject with legal and highly technical vocabulary in this edition. Advantages and disadvantages of DNA profiling, criminal responsibility in relation to section of IPC, lividity positions, sudden deaths, autopsy and dissection, embalming disadvantages, avulsion injury of face, hinge fractures of skull, microwave burns, rape trauma syndrome, deaths during sexual activity, sex-related deaths, POCSO Act, new offence after the changes in IPC and CIPC like voyeurism, stacking and acid attacks, all definitions connected with assisted reproduction. Cry opreservation, hair dye poisoning, paraquat poisoning, and surrogacy are newly added. Besides these, many new tables, colour photographs, additional MCOS, new case studies, revision MCQs test, etc. are also added. All efforts are made to bring forward simple, lucid and succinct study material, catering to the needs of medical students, doctors, lawyers, judiciary and the investigating agencies. My sincere thanks to my colleagues and friends for their valuable help and suggestions in the preparation of this book at various stages. Trust! This book will be of great help to the concerned people.
