Author Details
Professor Kusum, MA, LLM, former Research Professor of the Indian Law Institute for over thirty years, has written and co-authored several books; she has extensively contributed articles for the Indian Law Institute Journal as well as other journals, magazines and newspapers. In addition to this, she has been on the expert committee of the National Commission for Women and in such capacity, reviewed several legislations; has been on the expert committee of the ICMR to frame guidelines on "assisted reproductions" and was associated with the Delhi Legal Services Authority. As a recipient of the UNDP, Human Rights Fellowship, and also the founder member of the International Association of Bioethics, Kusum has visited several countries, including China, Korea.Australia, France, New Zealand, Sweden, Holland, etc. to attend conferences and present papers and reports.
