Description
Family Law is the basic personal law of mankind. It is the core subject of Law course. It has been taught from beginning as compulsory subject. It relates each and every one as a family member. Family Law has been divided as Part I and II. They contain many issued to be dealt with relating to Family Law. Some Universities divided the subject into two on the basis of Religion as Hindu Law and Muslim Law. Some Universities divided it on the basis of family and property. Then author has dealt the subject of Family Law as Hindu Law and Muslim Law previously. In addition to this, he brought out Christian Personal Law. Now the author has dealt the Family Law on the basis of family and property. Family Law I, deals with the whole family related issues such as marriage, matrimonial relief, adoption and guardianship of Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Parsees. He explained in Family Law II, the issues related to family property, partition, succession, gifts and Wills of Hindu, Muslim and Christian systems. Family Law I contains five units, first Unit deals with origin source of different religions, second units deals with the marriages of people of different religions, third unit considered matrimonial remedies i.e. Divorce the fourth unit contains the provisions of maintenance of divorced wives and the fifth unit considers the legal contents relating to children i.e. adoption, maintenance guardianship and customary practices.
