Description
It gives us immense pleasure in presenting the Third Edition of the book on Equity, Mortgages, Trusts and Fiduciary Relations. The concept of equity was mainly developed in England. The common law was not actually adequate to provide relief in certain matters like mortgage, accident, trust and contract etc. which we find in India as administration of justice. In India, this concept has been adopted and followed in present under the phrase "administration of justice". A dedicated effort has been made to update the edition. Some recently decided cases by Supreme Court of India and various High Courts have been referred. Some of those are as follows: Ganpati Babji Alamuar v. Digambarrao Venkatrao Bhadke AIR 2019 SC 4292, Sopan v. Syed Nabi AIR 2019 SC 3353, Dharmaji Shankar Shinde v. Rajaram Shripad Joshi AIR 2019 SC 2367, Babu Genu Waghchaure v. Shankar Tukaram Thorat AIR 2018 Bom 209, Patel Ravjibhai Bhulabhai v. Rahemanbhai M. Shaikh AIR 2016 SC 2146, Vidya Drolia v. Durga Trading Corporation AIR 2019 SC 3498, Principal Secretary,
Govt. of Karnataka v. Ragini Narayan AIR 2016 SC 4545 and P.N. Viswambaran v. T.P. Sanu AIR 2018 Ker 116 (FB). All the amendments including the Indian Trists (Amendment) Act, 2016 have been duly incorporated at appropriate places in this edition.
