Description

Author Details
Professor (Dr.) Paramjit S. Jaswal, is Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL, Punjab. He is former Vice-Chancellor, HNLU, Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Chairman, Department of Laws, Director, UILS, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He stood first in the Panjab University in B.L. (N.P.) and LL.M. In LL.M. he created a new record of the University. He has been teaching since 1982. In 2990Dr.Jaswal was selected for the prestigious Nehru Centenary British Fellowship Award and did his post-doctoral research in the, School of Oriental And African Studies (SOAS), University of London, London (U.K.) Dr. Jaswal also did a course of Human Rights at the International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg (France) and completed his internship at the UN. Centre for Human Rights, Geneva. In 1994, Dr. Jaswal was selected for the Career Award for "Young Talented Teachers" by the U.G.C. and completed a research project on "Environment Protection and Sustainable Development". Dr. Jaswal has authored five books and has written several research papers, which have been published in various reputed national and international journals/books. Dr. Jaswal has also represented India in the International Workshops/Conferences in the area of Environmental Law and Human Rights...
Professor (Dr.) Nishtha Jaswal is teaching in the Department of Laws, P.U., Chandigarh. She is former Chairperson, Department of Laws and Dean Student Welfare (W), Panjab University, Chandigarh. She is also Member, Chandigarh Commission for the Protection of Child Rights. She stood first in B.A. and bagged the University Gold Medal. She has been in the teaching career since 1986. She was invited as Visiting Professor by the British Academy, London in the year 1992. She has authored three books and written several research papers, which have been published in various reputed national and international journals.
Ms. Vibhuti Jaswai, is a young budding scholar of Army Institute of Law, Mohali (Punjab). She has a great passion for the protection of environment. She closely watches all national as well international developments for the protection of environment.
